UFC 105 Event Odds

UFC 105 is right around the corner. This huge event is scheduled to take place November 14th, 2009 in Manchester, England at the M.E.N. Arena. The fightcard for UFC 105 is loaded and highlighted by the feature fight – Couture vs. Vera. Rounding out the main televised fight card is Swick vs. Hardy, Bisping vs. Kang, Wilks vs. Brown and Pearson vs. Riley. If you are looking to bet on this fight, Bodog.com has some of the best UFC 105 Odds we have seen.

The Randy Couture vs. Brandon Vera fight should be a great fight with lots of dramatics. Couture has been fighting heavyweight for a little while now and it’s become apparent that he’s not cut out for that level. This fight begins his journey to recapture the UFC light heavyweight title at UFC 105. Would one win over Brandon Vera be enough to give Couture a shot at a UFC title match? It’s certainly a possibility. Beating Vera is a bigger issue. Brandon Vera comes into UFC 105 on a roll. Vera has won his last two fights and has similar fighting styles to Couture. Vera doesn’t seem to have that big public appeal yet, but a win over Randy Couture at UFC 105 could launch his career forward. BetUS.com has Couture favored just slightly in their latest UFC 105 Odds. They show Randy Couture at -120 and Brandon Vera at -110. Basically a pickem. Another huge fight included in the UFC 105 event is Dan Hardy vs. Mike Swick. Manchester will be rocking for this welterweight bout that is sure to give the winner a shot at the title vs. Georges St-Pierre. Swick comes in at 14-2 while Hardy is 22-6. This event will be the second televised event right below the Couture vs. Vera headliner event. Swick comes in as a 2-1 favorite at most sportsbooks. BetUS offers -210 Odds on Swick and if you like to bet on the underdogs, you can bet on Dan Hardy at +165. We break down this Hardy/Swick fight a little further and give our expert predictions on this UFC 105 fight here.

The third “headliner” fight of UFC 105 event is Michael Bisping vs. Denis Kang. Bisping is surely the hometown favorite in this event but is coming off one of the nastiest knock outs in the history of UFC. Dan Henderson sent him a brutal knock out not very long ago, which Bisping will surely want to rebound from. Bisping has an 18-2 record while Kang is 32-11-1. Kang is a veteraned UFC fighter that is 1-1 in UFC matches. He will NOT want to lose another fight especially to Bisping. BookMaker has this event listed as a pickem with both fighters odds set at -115. Our full breakdown of the Bisping vs. Kang fight discusses in depth who we like and who you might want to consider betting on for this match.

The UFC 105 Preliminary Card includes: Terry Etim vs. Shannon Gugerty, John Hathaway vs. Paul Taylor, Nick Osipczak vs. Matthew Riddle, Alexander Gustafsson vs. Jared Hamman, Roli Delgado vs. Andre Winner
