Condit is a true MMA style fighter and is trained in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, BJJ and Kung Fu and has been a highly successful fighter with his uniquely unspecialised but highly versed skill set. With a win/loss record of 25 – 5 with only 1 loss in the UFC since his debut coming via decision. Condit is well prepared for wherever the fight goes and is a very tough test for anyone in the UFC Welterweight division.

Chris Lytle is a pure fighter through and through, who is highly skilled in both BJJ and Boxing with experience that is well ahead of his ‘part-time’ status and is highly respected by all MMA fighters and fans alike; it is also well worth noting that Lytle has never been stopped in a fight with all but 1 of his losses coming by way of decision (except for 1 match up stopped via injury against Joe Riggs).

Carlos Condit Vs Chris Lytle Prediction

A very exciting Welterweight match up with both fighters possessing an excellent stand up base and explosive power in their hands. Both fighters are highly proficient in the ground game as well which will be interesting to see how the fight will develop. I would take a punt at saying that the fight will stay on the feet for as long as possible with both fighters looking to finish the fight in a highly impressive manner. Although I am a huge fan of Lytle, I feel that Condit has the all round skill set to take it straight to Lytle and he will take the victory via TKO in the 2nd round, handing ‘Light’s Out’ his first ever stoppage.

Our Carlos Condit Vs Chris Lytle PredictionCondit to win via TKO.
