Anderson Silva Vs Vitor Belfort Prediction
This UFC Middleweight Championship bout is definitely one the fans have been waiting for since they were first scheduled to meet back at UFC 108 then at UFC 109 then yet again at UFC 112 but due to injuries to both fighters it was postponed and eventually signed to the UFC 126 fight card. I feel that Belfort’s game plan will be to get Silva to the ground as early as possible and to try and grind the Champion down (just like Chael Sonnen did to Silva at UFC 117) and to utilise both his ground ‘n’ pound and Jiu Jitsu to try and take advantage. However Silva must have learnt from his fight with Sonnen that he is vulnerable against the takedown and would have trained extensively trying to avoid any takedowns against him. I feel that Belfort may dominate the opening of the match but will back Silva to win the bout late on via TKO.
